Things People Said When They Found Out I Had a Miscarriage:
  • "Was it a planned pregnancy?"
  • "Sometimes, the father secretly doesn't want the baby and that's what happens."
  • "Well, CG is always jumping on her and kicking her in the stomach..."
  • "Don't think you've seen it all. There are a lot of other bad things you haven't even experienced."
Other Things People Said When They Found Out I Had a Miscarriage:

...hmmmm....I feel like I may be in there somewhere, I think. If so it is considered a "bad, negative" comment. People sometimes feel so misunderstood. I do now.

My jaw DROPPED when I read some of the things people said. Seriously, WTF?! I'm glad it wasn't all clueless...

Sometimes people don't realize that saying nothing at all is better than saying the wrong thing. I learned that when my sweet Logan lost his fight, sometimes people say the DUMBEST things. It is hard to hear those "wrong" things, and I am sorry that people can't even begin to understand what you've been through. I hope that just knowing people are reaching out to you brings you great comfort.
